Ronald D. Standiford, M.A. R., M. Div., Pastor

A native of Baltimore, Ron graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a BA in Political Science from the School of Public Administration. After seeing what God was doing in himself and his family,  he left a law career to enroll in Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia to learn more about God and the Bible.

He is married to Darby, and has two married daughters, and one grandson.

Ron has preached and taught Bible to the Men's Division of the Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, as well as the Maryland House of Correction at Jessop. Now he is serving a need by leading an active group Bible Study at the Edenwald Retirement Community.

Locally,  has served on the boards of Beachmont Christian Camp, Presbyterian Home of Maryland, Pocket Testament League of Baltimore, Youth Ministries, Inc., and Redeemer Classical Christian School, which he helped found.

Interested in history and agriculture, Ron has served on the Board of Baltimore County Historical Society, Program Committee of the Maryland Historical Society, and the Gunpowder Conservancy.

He and his wife live on the former family farm, Beachmont, where the church and school are located.

Most importantly, Ron recognized his own sin and separation from God, and trusts only in the the finished work of Jesus for forgiveness, redemption, and righteousness that God, the Father, provides.

Richard Smith, piano.

Richard was a child prodigy on the piano and came to Peabody in Baltimore to study. He studied organ also, and has played in numerous concerts and private parties. Richard captures the emotion of what we are singing, whether it is to add a majestic introduction, pensive reflection, or to play in a mood according to the song.

Ed Boemmel, guitar.

Ed 's love and skill in playing is evident as he accompanies on the guitar. He loves to play to benefit others. He reads and studies reformed theology to better understand the God and Savior to whom we sing.
